            Programming with OpenSCAD teaches the basics of 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and computational thinking by gently guiding readers to learn to code
            3D-printable objects. The text-based OpenSCAD descriptive programming language is used to help readers supercharge their spatial reasoning skills as they learn how to translate, rotate, scale, and combine 3D and
            2D geometrical shapes while simulataneously learning how to repeat shapes with for loops, use modules to define new shapes, and inject dynamic (and sometimes unpredictable) elements into a design with if
            statements. Readers use the OpenSCAD software to develop and design complex objects while working with 3D perspective views and 2D orthogonal views.
